Introducing Kenjyo, a new sake that health-
conscious consumers will appreciate.
We have developed a type of koji (a mold critical to the sake-making process) that is high in inositol and GABA (gamma amino butyric acid) and thus helps produce a sake that has positive nutritional effects and a naturally calming effect.
To assure the highest levels of quality and purity in our Kenjyo sake, we use no chemical compounds or artificial additives. This dry and full-bodied yet healthful sake is produced using only ingredients that come from rice during the brewing process.
Inositol is good for the liver.
Inositol helps the body metabolize fat, thus preventing fatty buildup in the liver. The right amount of inositol in the diet is believed to have a number of beneficial health effects.
The natural calming effects of GABA.
GABA stimulates blood flow to the brain, increasing the supply of oxygen and promoting brain cell metabolism. Some nutritionists believe that GABA has a natural calming effect on the body.
